For Tara Alex, becoming a REALTOR® was the natural evolution of a career already built around helping homeowners. After spending nine years as a licensed home inspector in the Okanagan, she developed a deep understanding of homes and a passion for guiding people through important decisions.
While she loved helping clients as a home inspector, she wanted to play a larger role in the journey — supporting people not only in understanding a home, but in taking the next steps when buying or selling one.

Tara’s focus is West Kelowna Estates, the community she calls home. She appreciates the area’s lifestyle and believes its abundance of homes suited for multi-generational living will become increasingly valuable in the years ahead. When asked what accomplishment she’s most proud of, Tara doesn’t hesitate: her son.
Beyond family, she’s also proud of the significant life changes she has made over the past two years and the personal growth that has come with them.
Outside of real estate, Tara enjoys sewing, a creative outlet that allows her to recharge and express herself. She’s also an avid motorcycle rider, describing time on her bike as a revival for the soul. When she’s not on two wheels, there’s a good chance you’ll find her around a pool table.

For Tara, joining Stilhavn felt like a natural fit. The brand immediately caught her attention, reflecting an appreciation for strong visual presentation developed during her background in graphic design.
As she prepared to transition into real estate sales, Tara sought out mentorship from fellow Stilhavn agent Terri Osti, whose client care model closely reflected the way she believes people should be treated. Through that relationship, and after meeting the team and experiencing the brokerage firsthand, she found the welcoming and supportive environment she had been looking for.
