A Natural Next Step

For Jasmeen Sekhon, real estate has always been part of her world. Growing up in a family of builders and real estate investors, she was introduced to the industry early, often working alongside her parents as they renovated and rebuilt homes. Becoming a Realtor felt like a natural next step.

Now approximately two and a half years into her career, Jasmeen has found that what she loves most is the people. From clients and fellow Realtors to mortgage brokers and tradespeople, she values the relationships and friendships that come with helping people navigate such an exciting milestone.

Seeing the Potential

Jasmeen’s upbringing gave her a unique perspective on real estate. Having spent years helping her family completely transform properties, she learned early on to look beyond a home’s current condition and recognize what it could become.

That hands-on experience continues to influence how she approaches properties today, bringing an appreciation for their potential and possibilities.

Her determination has also translated into early professional success. One of her proudest accomplishments was qualifying for the Medallion Club in her first year of real estate alongside her team — a milestone she remains particularly proud of.

Neighbourhoods Close to Home

Jasmeen primarily works throughout East Vancouver, North Burnaby, and North Vancouver, three communities that each hold personal significance.

North Vancouver was where she first put down roots after moving to Vancouver in 2017 and continues to feel like a second home. North Burnaby is where she lives today, while East Vancouver is where she began her real estate career and gained valuable experience alongside her team.

Each community represents a different chapter of her journey, making the opportunity to work across them especially meaningful.

Beyond the Deal

Kind, hardworking, loyal, fearless, and determined are among the qualities Jasmeen believes those closest to her would use to describe her — with a little humour thrown in, too.

Outside of real estate, Jasmeen has a creative side. She enjoys knitting, painting, colouring, reading, and crafting with friends, along with trying new things and embracing spontaneous adventures.

Born and raised in Quesnel, a small town in BC’s Cariboo region, she also has a lifelong connection to the outdoors. She’s been dirt biking since she was six years old and still makes regular trips back to her hometown.

A Home at Stilhavn

For Jasmeen, Stilhavn had been on her radar for quite some time. She was drawn to the brokerage’s boutique environment and the opportunity to work alongside high-performing, like-minded professionals. But it was meeting Matt Kerr that ultimately solidified her decision to join Stilhavn and become part of Team Kerr.

Jasmeen greatly admires Matt as both a person and a mentor, and his involvement in the brokerage reinforced her confidence in the people and culture behind it. Today, she values being surrounded by supportive professionals who share her passion for real estate, while continuing to learn, grow, and build her career alongside Team Kerr.
